These terms are the agreement for paid Kimuor licenses — for when you'd rather not credit, or can't. They're written in plain language so you know exactly what you can do — no fine print designed to trip you up.
1. Paid licenses
A paid license means no credit is needed, and it comes with the high-quality WAV file and a certificate. Choose by who the music is for and where it will be heard:
- Standard — $9. For your own content. Your YouTube channel, social media and personal or small projects, monetized or not. Not included: work for a client or brand, paid advertising, TV, film or radio.
- Business — $37. For music that works for a business. Background music in shops, cafés, restaurants, gyms and hotels; music on hold; apps, games and software; podcasts; online ads and videos made for a client or brand. Not included: TV, cinema, radio or other broadcast.
- Premium — $199. No limits on reach. Everything in Business plus film, TV and streaming productions, TV and radio commercials and large-scale distribution, with priority support.
Every paid license: covers one track, in as many projects as you like within your tier · is perpetual, worldwide and non-exclusive · belongs to the person or company named on the certificate. Not sure which one fits? Email us before buying and we'll tell you.
2. Editing the track
With a paid license you can cut, loop, fade, shorten or extend the track and mix it with voice-over and sound effects so it fits your video or project.
You can't turn it into a new piece of music: no remixes, no singing or rapping over it to release as a song, no re-recording or cover versions, and no releasing it, or a version of it, as your own track.
3. Work for clients
With a Business or Premium license you can use the track in content you make for a client. Your client can publish and use that finished content too, without buying another license. The license stays in your name; the client can't use the track in other projects.
4. YouTube Content ID & whitelisting
Kimuor protects its catalog with Content ID. When you buy a license, we ask for your channel or video link at checkout so we can whitelist it, normally within 24 hours. If a claim still appears, email us your Order ID and we'll release it, usually within 48 hours. Your certificate and Order ID are your proof of license, and anyone can check them on the recover page.
5. What you may not do
- Resell, redistribute or share the music files as standalone audio, including in sample packs or music libraries.
- Claim authorship of the music or register it with any Content ID or rights system.
- Use the tracks in NFTs, AI training datasets, or in content that is unlawful, hateful or defamatory.
- Transfer your license to another party without written consent.
6. Ownership
The music stays ours — Kimuor keeps full ownership of every track and master. What you're buying is the right to use it, under whichever tier you chose. Think of it as a long-term loan of the sound, not a sale of the song itself.
7. Payment & refunds
Prices are in US dollars, paid through PayPal, at the price shown when you buy. Since a license gives you the files instantly, purchases are generally non-refundable. But we're reasonable people — if something breaks, a download fails or whitelisting doesn't go through, just email us and we'll sort it out.
If a payment is reversed or charged back, or these terms are broken, the license ends and the content using the track is no longer covered.
8. Our promise
We guarantee Kimuor owns all the rights needed to license every track. If anyone else makes a valid claim against your licensed use, we'll fix it or refund you. Beyond that, our responsibility is limited to the price you paid for the license.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the site grows. Your license always follows the terms in place on the day you bought it, and content you've already published stays covered.
